The Benefits of Frankincense

Frankincense is mentioned at least 13 times in scripture. Frankincense was used as a worship offering. It was one of the 4 ingredients that God instructed Moses to use in Exodus 30:34. It was one of the oils that the Magi’s presented unto Jesus.

Frankincense oil benefits: Arthritis and Pain Relief such as joint pain relief, because it has anti-inflammatory properties. Stress relief such as anxiety reducer. Aids in better sleep, a sleep enhancer because it causes a sensation of relaxation.

Frankincense is one of my favorite oils to diffuse. Its warm, resinous aroma instantly shifts the atmosphere, creating a space of peace and relaxation. During stressful work moments, I apply a small amount to my temples, the back of my neck, and my wrists — and it consistently brings a sense of calm and grounding. It’s also a key ingredient in my Quiet Relief Cream, adding both its soothing fragrance and its gentle, comforting properties.

I will mention the loving kindnesses of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses. Isaiah 63:7
